About Us

Hey y'all!

We are Chris & Jenny, owners of Coffee Doodle Doo Cafe!  Our coffee shop is located on our beautiful 60-acre farm, and it has been a dream many years in the making!  We have been married for 33 years and are the parents of 12 and grandparents of 3. A strong love of family and children has been the inspiration for our family-run business, with a hope of creating a space that is engaging, relaxing and creates memories to last a lifetime. As a mom, Jenny's heart is to have a place for girlfriends to meet up and have some amazing coffee while their kids have some good old-fashioned farm fun!  We believe that fresh air and farm animals are just good for the soul, so we are adding elements that remind us of years gone by. There are lots of wonderful areas to kick back and relax in a hammock, climb some ropes, try out an old-fashioned see-saw or merry-go-round, dig in our corn barn, read a book from our library, lounge in a bean bag, have fun making pretend coffee, or enjoy a web swing! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention riding a bike on our Trike Track!  We have lots of plans for more fun spaces as we continue to grow and expand! We have even more great news!  Our property is directly adjacent to the beautiful Silver Comet Trail, and we have a trail head just off of our driveway. Come for a beautiful walk and finish it off with a yummy gourmet coffee! We are also adding places for fun photo ops, so bring those cameras!  We will be hosting seasonal events as well, so be sure to subscribe to our site so you don't miss a thing! As if that's not enough, we also have the sweetest cows, goats, pigs, chickens, donkeys, and farm cats around, and they can't wait to meet you! Hope to see y'all soon and thanks for stopping by!

~Chris & Jenny

General FAQ's

-Dogs are not allowed on the property unless it's a legal service dog. No emotional support animals.

-There is no entry fee. The play spaces are free to use. Please be considerate and don't brake our toys or playground equipment or we will have to start charging an entry fee to cover the cost of damages or replacements.

-This is a real working farm. Please dress accordingly and know that you will spend most, if not all, of your time outside.

-Do not ever bring treats for the animals without asking us first. They are on specific diets and certain things could kill them.

-No smoking or vaping. You are around animals and children the entire visit and we want all guests and our animals to be comfortable.

-You cannot have any party, gathering or event here without booking the party pavilion. Please see the parties/rentals page for booking and more information.

-We are open during normal business hours unless otherwise stated at the top of the homepage.

-We remain open for most types of weather. If there is lightning, we will temporarily close the truck for the safety of our employees.

-The driveway is mainly dirt/gravel and our parking areas are dirt.

-If there's a train on the tracks and it's not moving, turn around, go to Mount Olivet Road, turn right, go under the train bridge and take an immediate right onto Willow Springs Road. From there, you will turn right onto Hanlin, then take another right onto McPherson Church Road. Our driveway is just past the silver comet trailhead.

-There is one small indoor space(the coop) that is air conditioned or heated depending on the time of year.

-We have a bathroom with a changing table for use by all guests.

-Our homes are on the property. Please stay out of the private property areas and respect our business hours.
